Beginning Quilting for Children (Ages 9-14)
"It's
my winter break and I need something fun to do." Well, we've got
just the thing. If you have a student at your house who has shown
an interest in sewing, perhaps she would like to try making a quilt.
Old Town Quilt Shop is offering a beginning quilting class for kids, beginning
January 5th. We will be making a lap quilt using a basic nine-patch.
The sample quilt is called "Flutterby Frenzy". Come by and
sign your student up.

Memory Quilt
Create
a one-of-a-kind quilt by using your imagination, creativity and quilting
skills. Honor a special occasion by creating a Memory Quilt:
special event, graduation, birthday, anniversary, retirement, or a lifetime.
Explore ways of representing events through patchwork, applique, embroidery
and photo-transfer.

Birds in the Air
Design,
design, design is the focus of this traditional quilt block combined with
pictorial fabric. Sandy will cover the following: value, color,
design and block construction.

Class Registration **
Classes
are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Fees are due at
time of registration, are non-refundable and non-transferable. In
the event of a class cancellation, paid fees will be refunded by Old Town
Quilt Shop. Fabric and items purchased for a class will receive a
10% discount.
